Draft-dodging DIYs, a rolled towel under the door does wonders. If you’re fancy, call it “weather-proofing.”
Layer like you’re visiting Antarctica, because apparently 58°F is now “arctic” to us Floridians.
Bake something, the oven doubles as a mood booster and a heater. Cookies > kilowatts.
Use thick curtains, keeps the heat inside and gives your windows that “we’re surviving winter” look.
Blankets everywhere, decorative and practical. Bonus points if you look like a burrito by 9 p.m.
Unplug what you’re not using, FPL loves those vampire devices more than we love Publix subs.
Cuddle up, family, pets, partner, or that one cat who usually hates you. All fair game.
